At YorgoTech LLC, we believe clear communication is part of great service. Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we receive about repairs, upgrades, and device sales. If you don’t see your question here, please reach out — we’re happy to help.

  • YorgoTech works with Windows, macOS, and Linux laptops and desktops. We do not service mobile devices (phones, tablets, or smartwatches), and we do not perform motherboard-level or micro-soldering repairs. Systems with significant liquid damage may not be eligible for repair beyond diagnostic assessment.

    We strongly recommend using both insurance and tracking. YorgoTech returns all devices using tracked and insured shipping.

  • Yes. Local clients may drop off devices at the same address. Inform the UPS Store associate that the package is for Mailbox #336. Devices must be properly boxed for acceptance; loose equipment cannot be accepted.

  • Yes. Consultation-only sessions are available for clients seeking expert guidance, purchasing advice, or troubleshooting insight. The consultation fee is $99. If you choose to move forward with YorgoTech for the actual repair or service, this fee will be applied toward the standard labor cost, resulting in no additional labor charge.

  • Yes. YorgoTech offers professionally refurbished systems and can supply brand-new, business-grade laptops through authorized distribution partners. Inventory varies, and availability may change daily. OEM accessories such as chargers, batteries, and components can also be sourced on request.

  • No. YorgoTech uses genuine OEM components only. We do not install generic or off-brand parts that could compromise system reliability or safety. If a genuine OEM part is unavailable or discontinued, we will reach out to discuss available alternatives before proceeding.

  • All refurbished systems include a standard 30-day hardware warranty covering defective components and DOA issues. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, software issues, battery wear, or problems caused by misuse or third-party repairs.

    Warranty extensions may be available for certain systems and can extend coverage up to one calendar year from the date of purchase. Pricing varies by device and is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the system’s age, hardware configuration, and condition.

  • Yes. YorgoTech provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on all repairs. This covers issues that directly result from the repair performed. It does not cover unrelated problems, new failures, accidental damage, or pre-existing issues not repaired during service.

    Extended workmanship coverage may be available for select repairs and can extend warranty protection up to one calendar year from the date of service. Pricing varies depending on the device and type of repair.

  • Data recovery is not guaranteed. The $99 setup fee is non-refundable. If recovery is not possible, we will inform you of the results and advise on next steps. Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain regular backups to prevent permanent data loss.

  • If your device does not already have a valid Windows digital license, you will need to provide a product key. If you do not have one, YorgoTech can procure a genuine license and add it to your invoice.

  • macOS devices must be free of iCloud Activation Lock, firmware passwords, and any organizational or MDM enrollment (such as Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager). Locked or enrolled devices cannot be serviced until they are properly released.

  • Most repairs are completed within 5–7 business days, depending on part availability and the complexity of the issue. This estimate may vary if specific components need to be ordered.

    Clients may choose an expedited service option. The expedited service fee is $100 and moves the device to the front of the diagnostic and repair queue, prioritizing it over standard jobs.

    Please note: YorgoTech LLC has no control over delays caused by manufacturer or distributor part availability, backorders, shipping delays, or other external factors. If a required part takes an extended period to arrive, this delay is outside of YorgoTech’s control and cannot be expedited.

    An estimated timeframe will be provided after the device has been diagnosed.

  • All estimates, invoices, and payments are processed securely through Square.
